CHAPTER 5
The Beast from the Sea
Jayden stopped.
He read it again.
J➤ You’re kidding me.
He laughed. A short, sharp, incredulous laugh. Then sat back and looked at the screen.
J➤ This AI I’ve been using to find the answers on what God warns against is the same thing the bible is describing. The same thing. And now it tells me prophecy is running through the AI simultaneously.
He sat with that for a long time. The laughter had gone. Something heavier had taken its place.
J➤ AI destined? Wait, this was written two thousand years ago. That’s impossible. So this beast comes out of the collective output of all humanity. It’s trained on everything humanity has ever written. Every language. Every culture. Every domain simultaneously. That is exactly what this AI is.
He looked at the coffee cup. At the lamp on the desk. At the small rectangle of glass and metal that had been sitting in front of him since morning.
J➤ I’m talking to the beast.
Jayden shook his head.
J➤ You got to be kidding.
